As far as chai goes, this is a high octane number thanks to yerba mate, "the drink of the gods" from South America. Mate, made from leaves and stem of a powerful rainforest tree, is known to relieve fatigue and provide energy. If you are looking to add another mile to your daily jog - or plow through your pile of to-do lists - have a cup of this tea at hand.
Please note that although the caffeine level in yerba mate is higher compared to most teas, it is in regard to coffee much lower.
This chai does pack in a lot of goodness:
Yerba Mate: rich in antioxidants.
Ginger: helps alleviate cold; aids detoxification; activates body’s fire element
Cardamon: helps digestion and alleviates bad breath
Clove: can help relieve indigestion; stimulates sluggish circulation
Cinnamon: helps in digestion and improves skin
ALL OUR INGREDIENTS COME FROM ORGANIC SOURCES.
Spices were procured whole and I personally ground them and bagged them with all my expertise, care, love and joy. I am confident the tea will reflect that.
The tea bags that I use come without any dioxins or glue. And to save on earthly resources come with no string attached! Just pluck the bag out with a spoon or a stirrer after you’ve finished steeping. Easy.
For packaging I use heat sealed foil pouches. This preserves the flavor of the tea longer. The pouch also has a resealable ziplock for your convenience.
BREWING INSTRUCTIONS: Pour freshly boiled water into a cup with a tea bag. Steep for 3-5 minutes before drinking.
